Hujambo (Greetings) Family:

Peace and blessings! As we prepare to embark on our mission to Ethiopia this Summer, the World African Diaspora Union (WADU) is asking you and all Africans to send a financial contribution to support our work for empowering African people. Since WADU was formally established in 2007, we have boldly worked on the Pan African mission for the rebuilding and renewal of our people from the long depth of neo-colonialism and modern forms of slavery for a proud, powerful and prosperous people. Indeed, WADU with its powerful Council of veteran leaders across the Diaspora is reshaping history for the betterment of our people and thus need your continued support.

Since our successful Summit in 2009 with Madame Amina Ali, Ambassador of the African Union to the United States, we have taken her message to other parts for the African Diaspora to pressure the African Union to move with immediate and deliberate speed for the political and economic union of African people. Recently, we took the similar message to President Abdoulye Wade of Senegal during the 50th anniversary celebration and commemoration service dedicated to African and African Diaspora unity and renaissance. Our President, Ambassador Dudley Thompson and other WADU leaders impressed upon the participating African and African Diaspora leaders that the time is now to move forward as One Africa. This is especially important to save the African Continent from predators across the world looming over Africa for our resources.

To continue the valiant struggle of our ancestors we need your support even during this tumultuous economic crisis affecting African people worldwide. It is the very reason why WADU has made economics its business and priority agenda since 2009. Like 2009, the 2010 WADU Summit WADU from July 5-15, 2010 is focusing creating new opportunities from a Pan African economic model with a taskforce to promote trade, businesses and investments across the Diaspora, and with Africa. To maximize these opportunities, we will be pressuring the African Union to ensure that the African Diaspora has dual-citizenship status, so the Diaspora can repatriate our human capital (skills/jobs) for the rebuilding of Africa, after centuries of been forced to  advance our oppressors. Finally, WADU will strategize with the African Union to expand African cultural education and heritage tours to reconnect and recommit the African Diaspora to our beloved Africa.

In closing, we are very extremely grateful for your work to advance African people, and now seeking your financial contribution to continue our struggle for the benefit of our unborn generations. Please make Checks or Money Order payable to WADU. Contact us at 718-523-3312/404-527-7756 or WADUPAM.ORG. Thank you!
