Pan African “Living Saint” Transitioned
WADU High Council of Elders Chair, The Most Reverend Dr. Ndugu T’Ofori-Atta, transitioned into the spiritual world yesterday at 11:15 a.m. Dr. Atta was a Pan African Priest, former Professor of the Interdenominational Theological Center, Instructor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellows, founding member and leader of the Concerned Black Clergy of Atlanta, and a peoples’ pastor. Over the decades, Dr. Atta served and worked closely with major leaders for African freedom and liberation resulting in the building of major Pan African institutions in Africa and the African Diaspora. His Great Spirit is now watching over us as we mourn, celebrate and continue his sacred legacy. Dr. Atta’s funeral rite of passage ceremony into the Ancestral world will publicly be on January 22, 2012. For more information, please contact wadpam@aol.com.
